Community Health Highlights

We are committed to using our resources, reach, and partnerships with other organizations to help build healthier and more equitable communities.

Icon of corona virus

Kaiser Permanente provided grant funding to community health centers to increase their capacity to serve people in need, help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, connect individuals and families to community resources, and support population health management approaches that improve health outcomes.

Icon of grocery bag

We supported healthy food incentive programs, enrollment in CalFresh, California’s food stamp program, and medically tailored meal programs. We also increased access to healthy food for low-income and underserved families, developed health and wellness policies, and supported fitness programs for the elderly and youth.

Icon of house

Kaiser Permanente increased supportive services for individuals experiencing homelessness and funded transitional housing services. We also supported housing for transitional-aged, former foster youth.

Icon of umbrella

We supported behavioral health services to individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use recovery, grief, and loss.
