Community Health Highlights

We are committed to using our resources, reach, and partnerships with other organizations to help build healthier and more equitable communities.

Icon of grocery bag

In collaboration with the Warriors Community Foundation, Kaiser Permanente partnered with farmers market vendors to launch the Thrive City Farmers Market on Wheels in San Francisco, a mobile program that delivers fresh groceries to seniors in need.

Icon of ipad

Recognizing that many seniors experienced social isolation during the pandemic, we donated iPads to the Curry Senior Center to help seniors stay in touch with loved ones. Kaiser Permanente employees also worked with community partners such as the Girl Scouts to create cards, artwork, and notes to bring cheer to residents of South San Francisco’s Magnolia Senior Center.

Icon of leaf

Kaiser Permanente supported the Florence Fang Community Farm, one of San Francisco’s most productive urban farms located in the Bayview Hunter’s Point Neighborhood, by funding the farm’s first beehives and greenhouse.
