Community Health Highlights
We are committed to using our resources, reach, and partnerships with other organizations to help build healthier and more equitable communities.
We partnered with the Sacramento Employment and Training Agency to support those with barriers to employment, preparing them for Kaiser Permanente lab tech and environmental services positions.
In response to the statewide shortage of mental health professionals, our clinical leaders worked with teenagers and young adults at local high schools and community colleges to promote careers in mental health, including pathways to employment with Kaiser Permanente.
In partnership with The Permanente Medical Group during the height of the pandemic, Kaiser Permanente leaders worked with 5 community agencies to deliver fresh vegetables, garden starter kits, and COVID-19 prevention tips to more than 150 low-income, homebound Latinx seniors.
