Community Health Highlights

We are committed to using our resources, reach, and partnerships with other organizations to help build healthier and more equitable communities.

Kaiser Permanente awarded $600,000 in grant funding to support community organizations working to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus among the homeless population.

Icon of spoon, fork, and knife

Recognizing that many seniors are experiencing social isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic, our employees and their families created more than 600 cards for seniors, which were delivered by SOS Meals on Wheels the week of Thanksgiving.

Icon of heart inside head

Kaiser Permanente awarded more than $400,000 to organizations and school districts to provide mental health and trauma-informed services and support to youth, teachers, and staff while fostering a trauma-informed culture across school campuses.

Icon of vaccination shot

In partnership with The Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Permanente extended flu vaccination clinics to community organizations reaching vulnerable populations in Southern Alameda County.
